The Big House
OUR VILLAS
The Big House
This Big House is our giant Driftwood Palace with a big double bed and two double Balinese beds. It has an en-suite bathroom and capacity for additional beds.
THE ISLAND
Pulau Pangkil Kecil is a delightful little island in Indonesia located close to Singapore. 'Pulau' means 'island' and 'Kecil' means 'small' in Indonesian. When you hire Pangkil you get everything: all the driftwood palaces (our luxury accommodation), the bar, the sound system, the pool, kayaks, snorkelling equipment, speedboats, kitchen, and more than twenty staff to provide you with excellent service.
We are roughly equidistant from Singapore and the equator so the climate is tropical and the monsoons mild year-round. The sea breeze keeps everybody comfortable and we entertain 365 days a year. We suggest bringing a light jacket during the winter months of January and February - which might come in useful on the ferry. Otherwise a sarong and swimsuit will do fine.

Other accommodation
MERIFIELD HOUSE
Named after our dear friend Clive, Merifield Palace is the largest Driftwood Palace in the island. There are 2 double beds, 2 Balinese bamboo beds, and 2 bathrooms inside. It has capacity for additional beds.
TREE HOUSE
Driftwood Palaces 2 to 5 are constructed completely from driftwood salvaged from the sea. The open floor plan and high ceilings catch the sea breeze. Relax in two double beds during your stay.
