We are a remarkably relaxed
organization. We hope not to scare you with our terms
& conditions below but it is prudent that we have
them and that you understand them before booking Pangkil.
We reserve the right to change any or all of these
at any time.
BOOKING PANGKIL
- Our online bookings calendar is updated weekly.
We sometimes have two or three requests for the
same dates. We reserve the right to choose any party,
but generally ‘first in, best dressed’
applies.
- We have been known to hold the island for up to
5 working days after receipt of a firm booking untill
we receive a deposit. However - see above - if there
are competing parties, it's ‘first past the
post’ and we strongly suggest you do not delay
sending your deposit.
- Bookings can only be confirmed when a deposit
has been received in full (and cleared). You will
be notified by email at this point and only then
can assume that your booking is ‘in the bag’
- We reserve the right to refuse bookings
SINGLE POINT OF CONTACT
We reserve the right to deal with a single person
for all financial and administrative matters. This
person is generally referred to as the “Group
Organizer” on our website and in our documentation.
The Group Organizer is:
- The sole point of contact. We do not have the
resources to answer questions from other members
of the group directly (as they are often duplicated)
- Responsible for ensuring that her/his group books
all necessary public ferries (outbound from Singapore)
- Responsible for summarising and sending us all
ferry and passport information for her/his entire
group
DEPOSIT REFUND POLICY
We reserve the right to not refund the deposit under
any circumstances. We generally do refund deposits
under the conditions explained
here.
FINAL GUEST NUMBERS & PAYMENT IN FULL
- We require final guest numbers 72 hours before
the day of departure to Pangkil as we have to buy
food and provisions in advance. We reserve the right
to charge for ‘no-shows’. Generally
however we are flexible and allow changes until
the day before as long as we have been forewarned
of any difficulties.
- We require the balance of the accommodation to
be paid 72 hours before the day of departure to
Pangkil. This holds for all corporate customers
and parties new to Pangkil.
- From time-to-time we may allow regulars to pay
the balance of the accommodation on the island with
a single SGD cheque or SGD cash
- All ancillary charges (drinks, extra meals –
if any, extra launch trips – if any) may be
settled on the island, before departure, with a
single SGD cheque or SGD cash. There are no exceptions
CANCELLATIONS
- We reserve the right to cancel your trip at any
time (things happen !) Fortunately, we have never had to
do this and, if we do, you will get your money back.
- If you cancel, then the conditions under “DEPOSIT
REFUND POLICY” above, apply.
DAMAGE
We reserve the right to charge for any damage to the
island, resort, fittings & fixtures, boats and
sporting equipment.
INSURANCE & LIABILITY WAIVERS
We strive hard to ensure a safe trip to, and stay
on, Pulau Pangkil Kecil. However, in no way can the
company owning Pangkil, the shareholders, the staff,
contractors, consultants, agents in Singapore (including
but not limited to Calm Cove Pte Ltd, EAS Maritime
Agencies Pte Ltd, and their staff, directors, managers,
shareholders or principles) be held responsible or
liable for any loss of life, injury, loss of property,
damage to property or any claims at all while on or
near Pangkil, or any other islands visited during
the trip, on or near sea transport or land transport
on Bintan.
