We welcome kids on our giant island playground. At least half of all groups consist of kids and it’s not unusual for kids to outnumber adults on the island !

BABY SITTING
We usually have at least five or six female staff members on the island. They enjoy babysitting in the evenings. The rate is S$20 for the evening until 11pm. They are not able to stay up much later than this as they need to get up early to prepare the island for you for breakfast. The fee goes directly to the babysitter, however we ask that you pay this through our Island Manager. With advance notice we can arrange all-day babysitters.

FOOD
We always manage to keep the kids happy in this department. Have a look at our Dining page

COTS
We have four sturdy cots complete with mosquito netting. These can be moved into any of the Driftwood Palaces.

TOYS
The imaginations of little minds work overtime on Pangkil. There is plenty to do. The Tree House and the Balinese Play House alone could occupy many kids for a day. We have a few buckets and spades but suggest you bring your own kiddie toys.

SAFETY
We provide children’s size life jackets for launch trips and water sports. Get them to wear reef shoes on the reef and you too ! We have never had a serious accident and we trust that firm, common-sense rules will be applied by all parents on the island to help us maintain this record.

RATES
For invoice purposes, we define children as aged 3 to 12 and children’s rates apply. Infants (under 3) are free. Anyone over 12 is charged at the adult rates.
